Adrianna "Ady" Walburg was called home on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at the age of 81. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, October 21, 2013, at the Volga Christian Reformed Church, with interment in Trinity Cemetery at Volga. Visitations will be from 4-8 P.M. Sunday at Eidsness Funeral Chapel in Volga. Ady was born on December 2, 1931, in Brandon, SD, the daughter of Adam and Hermina (Volkers) Molengraaf. She was joined in life by two sisters and seven brothers - starting kindergarten in Rowena and ending up in Arlington, SD, where at a family celebration met Henry Walburg from Clear Lake, SD. Hank and Ady became "one" on March 21, 1949, and with their family operated a dairy farm near Volga and then Brookings. Ady dedicated her life to her faith, family and friends. Everyone to her was a priority, shown in spare moments serving coffee at the Quick Lunch, flipping lefse in Volga, and caring for those who needed her the most. Survivors include her children: Dorothy (David) Huether of Brookings, Duane Walburg of Volga, Debra (Scott) Landegant of Volga, and guardian-sister, Betty Scott of Sinai, SD. As the sands on the shore, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and all those who called her "grandma." She is also survived by two sisters, Fannie Janssen of Volga, and Betty Scott of Sinai; five brothers: Albert (Lorraine) Molengraaf of Volga, Andy (Henrietta) Molengraaf of Volga, Harry (Alice Ann) Molengraaf of White, John (Diane) Molengraaf of Volga and Fred Molengraaf of Volga; two sisters-in-law, Vickie (Joe) of White and Sandy (Frank) of Texas; and everyone that was touched by her. She will be missed.
